END OF YEAR MASS: GOODBYE.
Today the whole school, family and friends joined together for our last Mass of the year, celebrated by Father James. During this Mass prayers were offered for those leaving today and for all our
pupils. This was a very prayerful and happy
occasion. At the end of Mass we said goodbye to Fr James who will be leaving Christ the King
Parish in August. We thanked him for his ministry at our school and as a memento he received a stole, card with every child’s name and a self
portrait photo collage.
Our thanks to all who were able to join us on this and our other end of term occasions. Goodbye and good luck Fr James and all our pupils in
Year 6.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
