Welsh Phrase of the Fortnight:
Beth wyt ti’n wneud? - What are you doing?

We remind parents that:
For our school to make the best use of our time, we need to ensure that admin staff are able to use their time as efficiently and effectively as possible. In order to facilitate this we ask all parents:
to restrict their calls, except in an emergency from 8.30-10.00 am and after 3.00pm.

To limit the number of visits that are made to drop off forgotten kit, instruments, cookery etc and to restrict the times to the above.

If you are going to be late picking up your child, please let the school know before 3.30pm. If a call is received after that time it is probable that KS2 children have
already left the classroom and it may not be possible to pass on the message. If in advance you are aware that you will be late, please tell your child so they know to go straight to the foyer and to inform the admin staff.
Thank you for your co-operation and support.

Jewellery Reminder
The wearing of jewellery is inappropriate with uniform and can constitute a health and safety risk All jewellery must be removed in circumstances where it could be dangerous to the wearer or to others, e.g. in practical lessons. Any jewellery in school is the total responsibility of the owner at all times. Therefore, please ensure that your child is not wearing any jewellery such as chains or earrings on PE / Games days that they are unable to remove.

KS2 Children.
Parents who stand with their children in KS2 playground before school starts at 8.55am are reminded that their children are not allowed to run around as in normal playtimes as the playground is used by parents accessing KS1 and Reception classrooms. We have had several nasty accidents before school in the past two weeks some of which have involved younger children. Thank you.
